FYI - Gregg Lerock concert info

The big day is almost here! To ensure a safe and interactive experience for all students, please read this important information and share it with all teachers, parents, volunteers and any others attending the concert:
CAN WE TAKE PICTURES OR VIDEOS? Copyright requirements, as well as the on-stage technical issues, prohibit the use of all digital devices in the theatre. There is absolutely no photography and no videotaping allowed.
HOW LONG IS THE CONCERT? The concert is approximately 55 minutes in length.
WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE? Doors open 20 minutes prior to your concert. Unfortunately, students will not be permitted to enter before that time as the tech crew will be preparing for the show. In order to avoid a lengthy pre-concert wait, buses should not arrive more than 30 minutes in advance of the concert. To be fair to all schools and to respect busing schedules, concerts will begin at the scheduled time.
PROVIDING PROOF OF YOUR BOOKING: Please remember to print and bring along the confirmation email that we sent to you when you booked your seats. Theatre staff will be checking this email confirmation, along with your total number of seats booked, against our records.
CAN STUDENTS LEAVE THEIR SEATS DURING THE SHOW?  Please instruct all students to stay in their seats during the show. For certain songs, Gregg chooses a very specific number of volunteers to come up on stage. For the safety of all students attending the performance, please do not allow additional students to leave their seats.
CAN WE EAT IN THE THEATRE? Food and drinks are not permitted anywhere in the building.
CAN STUDENTS REMAIN IN THE THEATRE AFTER THE SHOW? The theatre must be cleared immediately afterthe performance in order to allow the tech crew to prepare for the next show and/or to clear the stage. After the concert, please have each student quickly check beneath his/her seat for any litter and any personal belongings that may have fallen.
ENCORE SONG: The encore song is a special moment in any concert - and we don't want your students to miss it! When Gregg and DJ Daveed leave the stage, please encourage your students to chant, "Encore ... encore!" and they will return for their encore song, "Au Canada."
Just a final reminder: the better your students know Gregg's songs, the better they'll be able to fully participate in an interactive concert event. Thank you so much for providing this French learning opportunity to your students -- and have a wonderful time at the show!
Amicalement,

Michelle
