On the afternoon of our trip to Eastdale Rooftop Garden, we will be walking up to Chester E.S. for an afternoon of Jazz. This is a special invitation to Wilkinson P.S. via Ms Levy to enjoy a jazz performance from the students in the Humber Jazz Program.
We will be walking with other classes at Wilkinson and our parent volunteers from the morning portion have graciously agreed to join us in the afternoon!

The Details:
Where: Chester E.S. - 115 Gowan Avenue (at Logan, just south of Cosburn)
When: Wednesday, May 20 (Day 3) - 1pm-2pm (target arrival time 12:45)
Mode or Transportation: It's up to you.
-Walking - it is approx. a 30 minute walk
-TTC - is a bit awkward, although the TTC trip planner does have some suggestions
-A bunch of classes could team up and rent a school bus if they would like.
Program Description: The performance is a condensed history of jazz, which illustrates the influence historical events have had on jazz and in turn, how it has impacted a variety of musical styles. It is put on by the students from the Humber Jazz Program. It is suitable for any elementary or secondary school, and can be enjoyed by young and older students alike! It is a 45 minute presentation followed by a 15 minute Q&A.
